All Ireland Hairdressing College Championships

The Irish Hairdressing Council is delighted to be sponsoring a trophy at the All Ireland Hairdressing College Championships 2026, taking place in Westport and hosted by Mayo College of Further Education.

This landmark event brings together colleges, organisations, salons and educators from across Ireland to celebrate the next generation of hairdressing talent.

We’re especially pleased to share that two of our committee members, Anita Kirby and Maeve O’Healy-Harte, will represent the Council on the judging panel, alongside industry leaders from across the country.

The championships will also honour the incredible Martha Galvin (Allure, Mayo), with the Martha Galvin Award presented to the All Ireland Hairdressing Student of the Year, a fitting tribute to an inspiring Irish hairdresser.
